Social Security
Our office handles all types of Social Security Disability matters including Social Security Disability claims, Supplemental Security Income claims, and common Social Security Issues such as disability reviews and Medicare. Having an attorney assist you with your Social Security claim can greatly increase your odds of being awarded benefits.
Be careful of what you may see online. The Social Security Administration has a number of disability programs with different rules and regulations. Much of the online information is not accurate. We are happy to provide you with the correct rules for your type of case and help develop a winning strategy for you.
SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY INSURANCE CLAIMS (SSDI)
This program is for disabled persons who have worked at least twenty of the last forty quarters. Generally, this means you have worked in 5 of the past 10 years going back from your onset date of disability. The Social Security Administration considers your age, educational background, and work history to determine if there are jobs available in the economy that you could perform. The cases involve a medical review and then a vocational review using Social Security’s legal framework. Our attorneys prepare your case keeping the Social Security regulations in mind. Our office will oversee developing your medical evidence for your claim as well as contact your doctors for various disability reports and consultations. We also help you prepare for the hearing and go over with you many of the frequent questions which are asked during the Social Security hearing process. We submit an extensive summary of your case to the Administrative Law Judge prior to a hearing.
Many of our competitors use paralegals for all the initial tasks and appeals, using an attorney only for the hearings. Weiner and Randall Law Group is proud of the fact that, with our office, you will have an attorney guiding you from the start to finish of your claim. Our Social Security attorney has over 30 years of experience and has handled thousands of disability claims. Do not make the mistake of managing your claim yourself, give us a call today and we will be happy to review your Social Security case.
SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME CLAIMS (SSI)
DISABILITY REVIEWS
DEPENDENT ADULT CHILD CLAIMS (DAC)
If you have a disabled child, your child may qualify for a DAC benefit. Even if you have been told in the past that you have too much earnings for your child to qualify, once they turn 18 years old the rules change. If SSA determined that your child is disabled between 18 and 22 years of age, and one of their parents are receiving SSDI, retirement benefits or is deceased, you child can receive benefits based on their parents’ earnings record.
The rules for all the types of Social Security claims are complex. You need an attorney who understands the intricacies of these claims. You will be well cared for by the experienced attorneys from Weiner and Randall Law Group.
